Virtual Plug Summit
The GEST Plug Summit is a comprehensive and advanced educational program designed to equip interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals with the practical knowledge to use the various available embolization plugs.
learning objectives
Upon completion of the Virtual Summit, participants will be able to:
- Familiarize with various plug embolization devices available in the market, including their design, features, sizes, and indications for use.
- Learn to identify appropriate patients for plug embolization procedures through case studies and discussions, taking into account the benefits and potential pitfalls of the various plugs.
- Explore emerging trends and cutting-edge applications of plug embolization in specialized areas such as pre-EVAR embolization, PAVM, iatrogenic bleeding, etc.
- Gain an understanding about when to choose plugs over other embolization devices such as coils or liquids.
