Putting Coils to the Test: Embolization Summit 2026

Every embolization has a moment where the coil choice stops being routine: a vessel just under the edge of what your device was built for, a coil that doesn’t hold the way it did last time, a case where the standard technique isn’t quite enough. This year’s summit puts those moments center stage. Faculty go head-to-head on the vessel sizes that split opinion and dig into the mechanical trade-offs between pushable and detachable systems, coils and liquids, before turning to the cases where things didn’t go as planned.
