Putting Coils to the Test: Embolization Summit 2026

November 21, 2026 | 8:30 - 11:30 am US Central

Putting Coils to the Test: Embolization Summit 2026

Coil embolization is a cornerstone of interventional radiology, but with expanding device options, evolving technologies, and increasingly complex procedures, choosing the right coil—and the right embolization strategy—isn’t always straightforward.

Putting Coils to the Test brings together leading international interventional radiologists for a focused, case-driven examination of coil technology, clinical performance, and procedural decision-making.

Moving beyond product specifications and theoretical discussions, we will explore what truly matters in the angio suite: how coil design influences performance, when to choose pushable versus detachable coils, how to approach vessels of different sizes, and when combining coils with liquid embolics may offer an advantage.

Through expert debates, challenging clinical cases, and candid discussions of complications, faculty will examine both established techniques and emerging approaches with an emphasis on practical insights that can inform everyday clinical practice.
