Radioembolization: Current Practice and the Road Ahead

Virtual Summit 2026

August 1, 2026 | 8:30 - 11:30 am CST

Radioembolization

Radioembolization has matured from an emerging locoregional option into a cornerstone of hepatic tumor management — but the field is moving fast enough that practice patterns vary widely across institutions. This summit brings together leading voices in Y90 to address where the technique stands today and where it’s headed next. Session 1 examines current curative-intent applications, bridging and downstaging strategy, and the expanding role of radiation thrombectomy in portal vein tumor thrombosis. Session 2 turns to what’s ahead: next-generation microsphere technology, Y90’s evolving relationship with systemic therapy, unresolved technical challenges, and extrahepatic applications.
